Perla Grey
This quartzite tells the story recorded by nature some 1.4 billion years ago. Unique colors of dumortierite and muscovite capture the remote landscapes of Espinhaço Mountain Range. In an arid scenario, geological processes removed and accumulated quartz grains. Climate changes raised the sea, molding sand deposits. The waves movement immortalized smooth layers in the sandstone. In this pressure and temperature cycle, the metamorphism registered the Perla Grey geology.
