A natural choice: the exuberant beauty of Da Vinci quartzite composing the modern façade of Decolores

Reflected in the glass of the façade of the new branch of Decolores, located in Grande Vitória, Serra, the Da Vinci quartzite water mirror enchants and inspires customers and visitors with its beauty and authenticity.

The façade project focused on landscaping, the versatility of stone and natural minerals, featuring elements such as the vertical garden, the Bronzite ramp, the Da Vinci water mirror and the wooden ceiling, and integrating them in a fluid and creative way with the other modern architectural elements.

Sophistication in aquatic environments

Da Vinci’s intense green was chosen to cover the two water mirrors that surround the façade and extend into the interior of the building, where their organic shapes and vibrant colors can be appreciated through the glass floor, providing a harmonious encounter between nature and architecture.

The choice of quartzite for the water mirror project was very assertive, as this material is suitable for outdoor areas due to its composition rich in quartz, a mineral that is chemically resistant to the elements. When used in water environments, the tip is to bet on crystalline quartzites, with a glassy appearance and coloring, like Da Vinci.

Natural patterns

On the façade, the greenish hue, veins and organic shapes of Da Vinci quartzite give the building an exclusive feel and are a reminder of the colors, power and dynamic movement found in nature.
